It kind of feels like that doesnt it. I'm just presuming once the game starts tonight on tv i will get into it a bit more but just feels like an extension of the trial games.

Surely this experiment isn't going to be here to stay.

Plus it messes with fantasy football which i have more interest in than the actual football.

it honestly feels like another round of scratch matches than the start of the season, doesn't feel like they're being serious.

Which isn't helped by big Maxy Gawn's claims that Melbourne are now one of the Big 4 Vic clubs

What a shit game. Hope this is not indicative of what’s going to be dished up in 2024.

It almost knocked the post out of the ground.

Nothing changes, Melbourne should be 6 goals up but aren’t & HTB still doesn’t apply to Sydney.

Pretty happy with last night. Still, lots of work to be done but a good start, nonetheless. Grundy was massive and i think he beat Gawn. Heeney, playing more mid was excellent and overdue. And our ball movement at times was excellent. Still have Parker, Mills and Adams to come back eventually will help.
Certainly not a classic but good sign. Interesting to see how we go against better opposition next week.

There a strange lot at Demon land.
Sad for him to retire but a lot of bigger problems in the world I would of thought!
