Has admitted to it.

Let’s see how consistent the AFL and the AFL community are in dealing with this
Consistent lol. Good one mate.

What did he say?
Who dobbed?
Umpire heard it?
Essendon player? (If this is the case I'd be very disappointed)

Not known, Essendon players heard it, so did ump mics , Finlayson then reported it to port at 3/4 time, and apologised on the field to the player

Guessing you put the seat down when you go to the loo?

I treat myself every now and then.

Poor form by Finlayson, deserves the fine he'll get.

I don’t mind sharing that I too put the seat down when using the loo.

Makes a bowel motion so much easier.

Yes Finlayson will probably get a fine. But I ponder.

Calling someone a nasty name (now) is met with a fine, perhaps a suspension or having to undertake some remedial practice.

But use as many illegal drugs as you like and claim mental health and there is no penalty.

Walker couldn’t spell either of them I reckon.

Get the feeling this is the case
But if the Essendon player is openly gay and was vilified for that, then it would be a different story.
He’ll get a fine and rightly so.

Clarkson copped $20k for his, albeit not his first offence, I would think something similar would be in order but given the AFLPA would get involved I'm guessing it's $10k and a week.

How much did Montgomery get fined for his classy sledge on Adam Ramanauskas? Perhaps we could use that as a basis and then allow for inflation

I was talking to my kids about this last night and what was disturbing was from what they tell me, especially amongst the boys, is that the frequency of homophobic terms used as an insult still to this day with teenagers is as bad as it was when I was a kid, if not worse. Not only that, but calling each other the N word not as an insult, but just in general talk.

Not so much my kids, they're a bit older, but the 16-22's that use the C bomb with reckless abandon is amazing.

Yes that too and not in the context as was used before. My 17 year old said people use it as a compliment for outfits... WTF
