Some pretty bad luck there with the programming, potentially only 2 games with no potential finalist competing, but why the hell would they opt to play them on the Saturday and Sunday, why would Gold Coast play Hawthorn in Adelaide? Surely they'd wanna hurry up, get the season finished and go home, it makes no sense.

The AFL wouldn't want Collingwood to miss the finals, they'd have a far better chance knocking Port off up there than at Adelaide Oval.

It makes little sense in every aspect otherwise.

Why would Port get 10 home games and Collingwood only 7 in an 18 round series? 9 to Port and 8 to Collingwood seems fairer.
Normally the conspiracy theories are fhe Crows supporters domain.

The only thing that doesn't make sense is Sydney playing a home game at Metricon against Geelong as Sydney were based in Cairns and Geelong at the Gold Coast. Im not complaining though aswe normally never get a break.
