The Big 2 get the latest bye possible ie closest to finals, should have them cherry ripe for a tilt at the flag.
Pies may not be there but with GWS losing last night is there 8 teams that want to and deserve to play finals?

I would like to see the justification for his selection over those two, especially Ebert.

A quick player comparison on the AFL app shows that he is not a better option.
(The player comparison option is very handy)

Boak 34 disposals (12 contested) @ 85% efficiency, 9 clearances, 7 inside 50's
More Brownlow votes surely.
Rockliff and Wines with good numbers too.
