Failure to inject any youth to the team over a prolonged period of time. Effectively leaving them in a situation where they have a loft of

1 players that are nearing the end of their career

2 B,C,& D grade players who went under the radar when the team was going ok but whose inefficiencies are well and truly highlighted now they have to step up

3 a whole lot of untried kids.

They should play as many kids as they can going forward so they can see who might make it so they can set priorities for a near full list turnover. I would suggesta good start is speed, heart, & leadership.

I’d suggest Riccutto should also stop banging on about players he wouldn’t overpay to keep when he already has a list of overpaid list cloggers.

I think there's a few decent big men in this years crop, including Thilthrope from Westies. Depending on list sizes clubs may overlook the big player who may take a while to develop in favour of a ready to go draftee.

Not deep, but Adelaide might have two top 10, they have GWS first rounder.

Greenwood looked good today, mind you many did in sun's colours, but he looked alright.

Well Roo getting into twitter banter with an ex player who just beat your team suggests the answer is yes!

Alright so what do the crowd do, well you would say play the kids but that's pretty obvious. Problem is one of them got 2 touches today. Bloody hard to keep anyone in your side when that happens.

In my opinion the crows have never looked slower than what they did today.

Again Jones, persist and get him up on the wing around the ball.

F*** knows about McHenry.

Play Davis, Tamil, Himmelberg.

Do They also try Frampton for a bit? I would say yes.

McAdan or Stengle must play soon. They really need the pace.

Could have 3 if someone gives Brad Crouch a really good deal, pick one and two or at worst pick 1 and then a mid 1st round

How would three top draft picks go though without the quality and experience around them.

I know its very early and he will get plenty of time to prove himself, but Nicks isn't very impressive at all. Some of the things they aren't doing currently don't rely on talent.

Mark Neeld V2.0
He could be so incompetent he might not see out a season

They imploded 2 years ago, about the time they were cupping each other’s plums.

Now they are just low hanging fruit.

That standard is driven by the senior players, effort, intensity etc

Right now Walker, Smith, Lynch, Talia, Sloane know their careers end without a flag and on the end of a few years of getting pumped. See how motivated they can be.

They certainly have a few worries at the moment. I'm.not sure what they are doing with some players they have brought in. Crocker doesn't make any sense at the moment.

Other worries are there younger players just can't get into the game. Although Hamil looked good for them.

Sloane will be around for a few.mpre years, his midfield days are coming to an end quickly, but he is one to keep around.

Might be time for them to give Patrick Wilson a run in the middle. See what happens, persist with the kids and balance it with a few older blokes. That forward line of Walker, Fogerty, Lynch, Crocker won't hurt many score boards.

Crocker and Keays were cheap recruits, both 23, both with 30 games that they had to bring in because the likes of Gallucci ( 22, 27 games ), Poholke ( 21, 11 ) don't look up to it and the likes of Davis ( 23, 2 ) and Wilson ( 25, 2 ) haven't been given a chance. Throw in Knight and Atkins who will clog the list for another 2 years each before they can be moved on.

At the other end MacKay, Gibbs (still with another year to run on his deal!) and Hartigan might as well not bother coming to training, they aren't going to get a game any time soon.
