Thought Crows be bottom four, now think bottom two.

If Keays and Crocker are in the best 22 and were delisted by their previous clubs as they are not up to it, then it’s going to be a very long year!

On the other hand, Matt Rowell - Wow. Anderson is a het ad well. Both these kids look at home now at AFL level.

Rusty, disinterested. For Ports sake Marshall needs to open the shop now and put this hub to bed.

Whats the bigger story? Adelaide's woeful performance or Ports polished performance?

Be wary of Gold Coast early in the season - recent history suggests they start the season well, relative to the rest of their year ...
2019: 3-1 / 0-18 for remainder of season
2018: 3-2 / 1-16
2017: 3-4 / 3-12
2016: 3-0 / 3-16

Even if they follow this trend, a win next week and a couple of others throughout the season should be enough to have Adelaide covered for the season.

Can they fit one of those truck beeper things to Paul Seedsman so the next time he backs out of a contest the other players will be safe?

Pretty sure Port won’t get an easier game this year.

My random thoughts -

ROB was outstanding, gone from the SANFL to a top 5 ruckman within 12 months.

If only you could get inside Motlops head and keep him that motivated for a full season.

The Crows player I was most disappointed in was Milera, WTF?

McKenzie surprised for Port and looks OK, ? mark against the oppo of course

Who is the list manager at the Crows, still Reid? Its ok to play kids but if they aren't ready it could do more damage.

Fogarty is huge, Crows have missed their opportunity to bring him in as a support player, now he is a KPP with a lot of focus going to be on him

Every Crows kick from Half Back was a random tumble punt forward, not even trying to hit a forward or kick to advantage, it happened too often for it not to be a tactic they had planned

Lycett probably ended up beating ROB in the ruck last night after a poor first quarter. ROB only got his touches playing as a loose man in defence which while yes he did well, all he was doing was giving it back to port with the crows unable to get past the wall that we set up with our loose ruck which was a by product of the crows throwing him behind the footy. Still think ROB is a fair way off being a top 5 ruck, but definitely has decent signs.

Harsh call on Milera I think. He like several offers were under the pump a lot, but when he did get the ball there was nothing ahead of him either - same with Laird.

Didn’t help with Tex appearing to chase half his kicks in the back half of the ground.

Hard to impress in a 75 point loss when your midfield is getting slammed and forwards doing FA.

Also R.O.B took some good intercept marks on the last line, but that aside didn’t think he was very influential at all.

Also thought McKenzie was good.. but in the last quarter all I wanted was to see how far he could kick the ball just for fun but he didn’t
