4 weeks for that; I know some players who would never had played under those rules. Some referred to such events as "pre game preparation".

As part of the agreement with the Federal government for AFL to be played through this pandemic the AFL had to set a series of strict rules and regulations in place.
One of the Melbourne blokes got two weeks for simply catching a Uber.
Any other year Sidebottom cops no penalty but he had 3 breaches of the Covid policy

WA Premier isn’t messing around.
AFL clubs that go to WA will be under strict hub quarantine and any player breaching those rules will be kicked out of the state immediately and face further penalties which could be a $50k fine or prison time.

at least a few Premiers are treating this seriously

Was thinking about the game today
The better players are now deployed in the backline, most teams having at least 2-3 highly skilled distributors coming out the back half. Quite a few of these are former forward/goal sneak types.
Our forward lines now contain 4 and sometimes 5 defenders who's primary job is to tackle and keep the ball inside F50.
We have turned into Rugby where the forwards are backs and the backs are forwards
Its no wonder nobody can score, nobody is trying to. Nobody has a shot from 50 anymore, its either kicked to top of goal square, or even worse to the pocket for a throw in.
Is that what we want to be, Rugby, that kicks the ball forward a little more often?

Anybody who thinks there is nothing wrong with the game has their head in the sand.

c7 reporting all 10 sictorian clubs have to relocate interstate ASAP.
