Devon Smith $8 for ESS most votes. I think Jim was keen on him for the most Bomber votes, tasty odds

The predictor thingy I saw the other day had Heppell finishing top 10 and our highest but I still think Smith will poll better

Tough one depends on what the umps look for, Heppell was good and got lots of it but burns the ball, whereas Smith pressure acts and tackles as well as getting a bit of it himself were second to none

But Heppell is the skipper so he will get a couple more votes. It’s a Shame but true.

It's entirely man made material apparently.

Agreed.

I can see Mitchell getting lots of 2's, even when he gets 38 touches, whereas Dangerfield/Martin might get 24 and kick 2 and get 3 votes because the umps love them.

Mitchell polled 25 last year & both he & the Hawks were better this year. I think he wins, although I've got a sneaky bet on Dusty but fear he will finish second this year.

Winner wont poll 30 votes this year.

Does anyone think the Bont can pip Macrae for most votes at the dogs?

The umps love the Bont & is a proven vote getter. Currently at $9 on sportsbet.

Taken Josh Caddy ($41) and Dayne Zorko ($11) top 20. Zorko won Brisbanes Best and Fairest yet Beams is only $1.20 for Top 20
