I reckon there's one spot in the 8 up for grabs, North Melbourne's and this week Hawthorn play GWS and that might decide who has the best chance of knocking them out.

I did a predictor and have as my final 8 but of that I have Port and Melbourne on 15 wins and Geelong, Hawthorn and Collingwood on 14 wins so any of them could be changed very quickly with a W/L.

Richmond
West Coast
Sydney
Port
Melbourne
Geelong
Hawthorn
Collingwood

Adelaide one of the teams that can shape the fortunes of some others :

Round 17 v Geelong in Adelaide
Round 19 v Melbourne in Adelaide
Round 20 v Port Adelaide
Round 22 v North Melbourne in Adelaide

The next two weeks, West Coast at home and Richmond away might be written off but as troops return they might be able to upset some of the above opponents to change their September plans.

Reckon the Crows beat WC this week unfortunately.

Not sure players back is going to get immediate results, especially considering the layout times some of their players have had.

Would love to know some data on how well players tend to perform in their first couple of weeks back from injury. I reckon it would tell a very interesting story. (especially in the betting world)

Just did mine,

Sydney
Richmond
Port
West Coast
Geelong
North
Melbourne
Hawthorn

Collingwood

However I had Melbourne, Hawthorn & Collingwood only separated by percentage.
