How come Ross Oakley doesn't have a stand then?
Surely someone like Ken Farmer influenced football more in this state than Riccuito or Wanganeen?

Agree on both. I am only arguing about naming a stand after one year of playing football or an Olympian.

He has a suburb near VFL Park named after him.

Mark Riccuito has not influenced footy in this state. Russell Ebert, Craig Bradley, Stephen Kernahan, Barrie Robran, I would have before Mark Riccuito. Still cant believe he won a brownlow. Mind you Liberatore and Cooney won one.

Each to their own, there's plenty of other greats that have been overlooked, it's all opinions, AA's haven't been around forever.

He does have a very impressive CV, perhaps it's not that common for someone so young to be rewarded the privilege, although Etihad probably set the precedent.
