I do agree that the AFL treats AO for granted though - it is definitely not acknowledged how good the crowds are for both port and the crows for lower drawing teams - similar games against melbourne teams in melbourne are usually terribly attended
Absolutely, the AFL trust Port / Adelaide members to roll up, thus we generally get a bum share of shitty time slots. It's a back handed compliment.
( 22,000 for Collingwood v West coast yesterday under the roof ).
Crows have had amazing timeslots this year, so cant complain about that.
We will get three sunday home games - GWS, Richmond and Port
All the rest have been Thursday (Which the crows ask for), Friday or Saturday nights.
Port have had a few dodgy ones this year, but that should improve again next year with their improved form
Sunday and Thursday games are rubbish for traveling supporters though.
