Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Coupla good games.

Friday night toss of the coin. Reckon it will be a steak on the BBQ, bottle of red kind of night - kick back and enjoy. Swans could be risking a few injured lads. I will go with the Cats - by a whisker.

Saturday night. Really love to see the dogs go on with it. 3rd week straight, does it make them match hardened, or knackered? I've not seen that much of GWS. When they belted the Hawks I was "lucky enough" to be playing golf, so I missed the carnage! I did see them destroy Port - all I can recall is lots of goals, and blokes running around with hair buns. I am sure we will see a bit more of the lads in high vis next season, in terms of prime time footy. I will go with the home lads, just.

I reckon the last few MCG prelims on a Saturday have been twilight fixtures.

The sat arvo prelim has been a regular thing the past few years I reckon

Happened at Woodville Oval a year or so ago, a Dogs player (forgotten who) was running back with the flight of the ball in the Eagles goalsquare and cleaned up the goal ump. I think he dislocated a hip.

Revolutionary! No good for me anymore, Sat arvo's for horse racing in this household, especially this time of year.

For mine, I feel like an all-Sydney GF is very much on the cards, with the Bulldogs a possible spanner in the works. And Sydney to go on with it the next week. I feel they might be the biggest beneficiary of the Bulldogs' good work last week. Depends a bit on who comes up for them this week though.
