I viewed most of the game through an alcohol-induced haze, but thought it was a seriously enjoyable match.
Both teams gave it their all - the Crows were always going to just hold that lead, I never felt Port would win.
Two blokes who i've enjoyed this year - Impey and Young - did some good stuff for Port.
Like Collingwood (and Richmond), it must be frustrating that Port can do this sort of stuff, but then dish it out what they have during the rest of the year.

And, Days is right, supporters of both clubs have trouble sharing a stadium.
Hilarious some of the glares I copped.

Sorry, I didn't catch up, Booney. The Scotch caught up with me a bit quicker than I thought.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

LMAO. My mate (Crows fan) almost had his head punched in by a fellow Crows fan at the Cats v Cows game because the pingers were wearing off. Ridiculous comment Micky, all clubs have their feral fans.

I laughed at the grandma they showed in the live shot, she points at about three or four of the crows, including Eddie, mouthing off angrily the whole time, then makes this gesture that they could all just **** off, and her lips seemed to be forming those words too. She looked like one of the better balanced individuals you'll see milling about Alberton.
Reminds me a lot of the day McDermott slid into the fence at Alberton and the grandma leaned over and hit him with her brolly. Complete different breed of peole down that way. The byproduct of that cuture is the harshest grandmas in Australia.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

I was at the game last night was called ******* bastard when I yelled out that Mitch McGoverns brother was a better player. The guy threatened to "smash my face in" lol.

Yeah Crows fans are perfect. I know going over to WA is also an experience, but shit everyone try not to take the game so seriously. Relax and enjoy life a bit.

Rick Davies talks about getting hit over the head with an umbrella by a little old lady after the 1976 Grand Final.

Must be what they mean when they say 'The Port Adelaide Way'... it's the true Port Adelaide Tradition! ;)

Truth hurts the special people sometimes. Mitch McGovern will be a good player but his Brother is an out and out gun! If he can stay out of the medical room consistently he's as good as if not better than both Talia and Rance.

What a load of shit saying it's only Port supporters. Last year I seen 2 Female Crow fans punching on at the showdown, then there was the Crows and Collingwood fans punching on with each other on the hill.

Every club has them and to stereotype fans is ridiculous.

I obviously don't condone what this idiot has done.

And people laugh at me when I tell them I can count the number of AFL games I've attended since 2005 on the 1 hand. Also haven't paid for a ticket since then either.....

In all fairness the year I was member I noticed a BIG difference in the type of crowd and how they acted from both sides. Sat in a different spot every game too.

Pretty sure I heard a stat last year that said there were more people evicted from Crows games than Port games over the season.
Is it something to do with the whole fans not used to mixed crowds thing?
You can get 80-100k at the MCG between 2 clubs with over 100 years of history and everyone gets along ok yet in Adelaide and Perth they get 50k between clubs with no real history or rivalry and fans want to kill each other

Whilst I get your point and it's a valid one, I guess 2 team towns are always going to be fierce competition.

Who has actually said its only Port supporters? Sometimes people go on a tangent and it just keeps moving away from the truth

Don't forget that Micky has had a head injury, give him some leniency

People are getting blown up around the world and we carrying on because someone threw fruit at the footy. Comical. Happens in the school yard every day. Pathetic
