I like the $7 on offering for Dangerfield, a proven vote getter who's season has gotten better as the year progressed and has limited players to still votes off of him.

I think Dangerfield will win it even if Fyfe isn't suspended.

Dangerfield is the big tip, I reckon.

Amazing watching Dangers price plunge in the minutes after Fyfes report!

I've got Dangerfield at $26.
Could be the only player in history to win the Brownlow and leave his club.

I went with Cotchin last year and he flew home. I will go again on him and see what happens. I expect Fyfe to get enough votes early although his second half hasn't been that good.
I certainly don't like the idea that the umpires look at the stats after the game, but before putting their votes in. As we know, stats don't paint the full picture.

I think it's a very handy tool for them, when I umpire, I focus on umpiring, I'm generally close to who gets best after I read the paper during the week but having something there in black and white highlights what I've already witnessed.
Sometimes I've had the other umpire have a complete different set of players.

Cotchin won't be Richmond's highest poller. I'd expect Martin to be the closest from us.

I was thinking Hannabery but reckon other Swans players will steal votes from him. I’d love to see Goldstein win it but cant see a ruckman winning it.

i got Dangerfield @23 and Priddis @8 a few weeks ago. Only for small amounts though.
Always thought Danger would be a good bet. Polled extremely well last year despite having an average season, and has polled more than 20 votes in each of the last 3 seasons. Impossible to me that he doesnt poll at least 20 again this year. Also doesnt have sloane to steal votes off him, though Thompson could get a few early. Betts should poll ok for a small forward, but wont be stealing 3 votes from danger

Jacobs should be a chance to poll a few times, but again there's the ruckman factor. Dangerfield really does look well placed to have a decent tilt at it, although I still think Priddis has the best chance.

It is very hard for a ruckman to be adjudged clearly bog like a midfielder. Can easily see him getting 2 to dangers 3 even when most of us think it should be the other way round

I was thinking Goldstein as well - absolute stand out at North Melbourne this season. I know ruckmen don't win many but they're always in the eye of the umps. It means little in real terms but he's the highest DT scorer this season and 4th in the player ratings, averaging 15 possies and 44 hitouts, 4.3 marks and 4.5 tackles which is pretty decent for a big fella. Can't see anyone else at North scoring more than 10 votes and he'll get a bunch of 3's.
