Admittedly it may be closer to happening now, given that Roos is in charge.

I think Roos is the key here in the development.

If I was a Demons fan, i'd be praying that the saints pick Petracca. Whilst Petracca will most likely turn out to be a fair player, Melbourne struggle to kick a score which would be acceptable for a game of soccer, and a trio of Hogan/Dawes/McCartin gives them a bit of potency in a few years.

This is true, but still Petrecca and Brayshaw will turn Melbourne into a Midfield beast of a team in years to come. Hogan and Dawes up forward doesnt look too bad, but McCartin would be better. But if hes not there at picl 2 then there is not much you can do.

Obviously- my point was more based on the point of view if I was a demons fan. The potential for a lethal forward 50 combo of Hogan/McCartin would be my ideal draft selection over yet another midfielder.

Toumpas and Trengove (whilst injured), are another couple of mids waiting in the wings.

Could also do with another key defender.

Toumpas - I've got doubts of his ability to make it at AFL level.

Trengove - Might just be too far back for this lad. We won't see any of him in 2015.
PAFC. Forever.

Really hoping Cockatoo falls to us but have a feeling that North will nab him. Would be happy with two of Garlett, Leverde, Miller or Weller though
