seems like a slightly boring round this round.

Game of the round is probably Crows Hawthorn.

I feel like if it is a bit wet then we have a decent shot. anything to upset the kicking game of hawthorn cant be a bad thing. I think it will be close but i still am going to tip hawthorn.

I think the other interesting game is Essendon and Collingwood. I really like essendon in this one, i think they are in good form. Losing goddard will hurt them but i think they might win.

although inconsequential i think the other game which is slightly tough is the brisbane vs west coast game.

port will give richmond an almighty thrashing and answer the critics somewhat

Adelaide v Hawthorn
Melbourne v Geelong
North Melbourne v St Kilda
Western Bulldogs v Gold Coast
Brisbane Lions v West Coast Eagles
Sydney Swans v Carlton
Richmond v Port Adelaide
Essendon v Collingwood
Fremantle v GWS Giants

I think the Western Bulldogs could possible be the upet this week.
Surely Norf can't lose to St Kilda.

If so it would be the second major "choke" in as many weeks...

Essendon v Collingwood is definitely game of the round

No chance. Saints were insipid last week against Carlton, and although I'd expect a response and at least some competitiveness shown this week, hard to see North not winning by 5+ goals. Would be 12+ if played at the Dome.

Ess/Coll difficult to pick. Lions, Crows and Dogs all some value as underdogs.

Off topic I know, but does anyone watch "The Club" on Foxtel - The behind the scenes Collingwood show?

Switched the TV over this morning and it was on, and they had followed Travis Cloke to his hairdressers where we got to see him get his haircut, complete with commentary from the Hairdresser explaining what he was doing and why. I was seriously dumbfounded .. Surely not even Collingwood fans would be interested in that BS???

Ive seen it a few times, also the 'hanger' Essendons show. Dont mind them sometimes, when they do through the prep for the game and on game day etc. Last night they talked with Neil Craig about his role in the footy department which I found interesting.

but agreed, TCs haircut doesnt interest me one bit.

I reckon the Gold Cost will find it very tough to get up for this match. That Pies win would have taken a lot of out of them and the Bulldogs are starting to build a bit. I reckon Richmond are a silly chance but I'm not sure why. Something seems amiss at Port at the moment, the structure doesn't appear to be quite right but are Richmond good enough and hungry enough to take advantage?

I also think that the Lions can cause an upset against the Weagles who have dropped a few experienced players. The thing against the Lions though is that they will struggle to match up with the Eagles talls.

Tips?

Hmmm...I reckon Bulldogs, Port and Weagles but any combination could be possible from those few games. Adelaide are a good shot against the Hawks but I can't have Essendon without Watson and Goddard beating Collingwood. Collingwood will be stung by that effort in Qld last week and I reckon they will shut the door on Essendon.

regards,

REB

I'm still trying to get my head around me picking the Crows over the Hawks.

I just think the Crows might get up. It's a club stalwarts 200th, At home with the crow and the 19th man, travelling ok and I think the hawks are very light on down back.

Crows by 12 points
