Yeah only because that guy on the footy show said so. Brownlow genius only has him polling 21 votes.

I put 22.55 on Dane Swan on the 31st of May @ average odds of 68.5.
Not sure whether to lay, and load up on Ablett or let the bet ride its course.
Also put $10 on K.Jack @ 27s but this will be a flop.

I'm not much of a punter but my understanding of the GGs is that quite often the smart money comes in late (although I stand to be corrected by any punters out there). With Brownlow betting it appears to be the opposite - Sam Mitchell's price comes in after he cleaned up a taggerless Geelong...in a final. Hmm, no votes for that game (although I reckon he'll poll in the second Cats v Hawks match).
It has happened in other years as well with people doing well in the finals suddenly coming in on the Brownlow market. Mitchell will poll well but I can't see him betting Junior.
regards,
REB

He shouldn't do that either or he'd get suspended or cop a big fine

Do you know if that's on the net or in pubs too?

Reckon you're half right REB.
Mitchell won't win, but he has been smashed with the bookies because of a guy on the Footy Show who has picked the last 10 winners or something like that, that tipped Mitchell to win, not because of him tearing Geelong a new one friday night

Aha. Don't watch the footy show. Got as much chance of watching that than me watching a replay of the 2008 Grand Final.

Reckon the bloke from the Footy Show won't be backing Mitchell at all.
He tells everyone else to bet Mitchell which brings his odds in and everyone else drifts then he gets better odds on who he is really betting on!
