Sydney v Hawthorn ANZ n
St.Kilda v Fremantle ES
Geelong v Brisbane SS
Port v Carlton AS t
Essendon v Richmond MCG n
West Coast v Adelaide PS n
Gold Coast v GWS MS
Collingwood v North MCG
Western Bulldogs v Melbourne ES t
Amazing way to finish the home & away season.
IMHO Brisbane & West Coast pretty much no chance of finals.
Carlton have only 1 win in their last 4 and would need massive improvement to beat Port.
The crows will know early in their game if they are still a finals chance - wont matter, Eagles will win.
North will have destiny in their own hands Sunday at the G knowing a win gets them in, and that will be enough for the Roos to finally win a close one.

What I like is mathematically the only top 8 position that can't change is Port in 7th - usually by round 23 most of the top 8 spots are settled.
Hawthorn could lose to Sydney in Sydney tonight by a small margin and Sydney remain 4th on percentage although even on points with Freo.
Freo aren't taking their game against the Saints seriously based on 10 changes and could lose reducing their percentage.
Geelong should beat Brisbane and already have a slightly higher percentage than Hawthorn so could go top if the Hawks lose.
Richmond and Collingwood are even on points and only a few percentage points apart - both should win but by what margins? North might cause an upset in their crack at a Claytons finals spot but Collingwood are in good nick.
Any one of 5 teams can take 8th spot and purely make up numbers in the finals.
Interesting stuff!!

I'm hoping for a Essendon win and Collingwood win. That way it will be Richmond v Port. Win, lose or draw I would love to be at the G with 80,000 Richmond wood worms for their first final in years.
On the flip side, a trip to the G with 80,000 Collingwood fans is not quite as appealing.

I need some help with this decision for my dreamteam GF this week.
I currently have Hanley in my back half, and I am seriously considering an upgrade to either R Murphy or B Houli or Mackie. Any suggestions? Murphy has Melb and Houli has bombers this week. Im leaning toward Murphy or Mackie but... dunno

If I were a Port supporter i'd feel more confident playing Richmond in the 1st final than the pies..

Pick a backmen from tonights game, won't be much defence in a game that doesnt matter to either

I disagree I think if North get in they are a good shot to go into week two, they would be the one side the others would want out IMO.

Still dont think they would get near Collingwood in a final.

Maybe not but if they beat them Sunday and get in they won't face them week one or two anyway, they have pushed the top four more than the other sides with a chance.

Kangaroos have pushed sides in the minor round but the genuine good sides lift a notch in the finals.
Dont think they would get within 5 goals of any of the top 4 sides in a final.
They are 10th for a reason
