There are many aspects of Dangerfields game that are fantastic to watch. His ability to get the arms clear in a tackle and dish the ball off, as good as any. His ability to rip the ball from a pack and dish it out, as good as any.His ability to bust open a pack or contested ball situation, as good as any. Then you get the not so good.
On Sunday in the third quarter he bounced two or three times down the wing right on front of the commentary boxes, he then missed Kerridge with a handball (at his feet, right at his feet) then follows up to win the next contest, bursts through 50 and hits it with his left shin and mongrels it into the forward pocket.
If he can take a moment to balance and execute his skills better he will be outstanding. Its fair to say he really does have room for improvement. Performs well in the media too, so he makes the perfect captaincy material.
Or, is Sloane more of a leader of men than Dangerfield and its just the media and football watchers who think it is for Dangerfield to take over the role next year?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
