The best round of the year!!!! 
My favourite left footer is my favourite AFL player Luke Hodge. Also handy on the right too.
Unfortunately he will miss lefty round after suffering a minor fracture to his thumb.

Biased of course but Garry McIntosh and Simon Madden are my favourites.
Unfortunately didnt see him play live but have seen a bit of the great Bob Skilton on film and he was a dead set freak

What's the point of having a 'Lefty Round'?
Sure, there have been some great lefties over the years, but way more right-handed/footed players. If we're going to start having theme rounds for such trivial tripe, why not consider these:
- Pie with Sauce Round?
- Duffel Coat Round?
- One Game Wonder Round?
- Sacked Coaches Round?
- Supercoach/Dream Team Round?
Sure, there have been some great lefties over the years, but way more right-handed/footed players. If we're going to start having theme rounds for such trivial tripe, why not consider these:

Agree with FC.
Trivial tripe some of these theme rounds.
How about a round to honour the supporters who without, there wouldn't be an AFL in its current form.
They could throw the gates open for free admission for 1 round a year.
The very least the AFL could do after sucking the wallets dry of the week in week out faithful supporters.
