Round 6 v Kangas

Tough task here.

Although 1-4 the Roos have lost to Geelong, Collingwood and Hawthorn by under two goals are, for the most part, just about the form team of the comp.

They were our bogey side for years and the last couple of seasons (remember last years last gasp Stewy goal to steal the points?) we have been able to hold our own against them.

We wont be able to give these guys a 4 or 5 goal head start and reel them in. Our young lads will have the odd down day and with Jacko out, Kenny not there are hitting the Roos in Tassie I think we might drop this one.

Schulz, although kicking goals, is working further up the ground to get his kicks. I'm not sure he is 100%?

Bobby, Cam O'Shea and Tommy Jonas as the three "talls" will have plenty to do holding the Roos big boys out. Sadly, Petrie likes playing us....he usually scores heavily against us.

We will never give up.....but this one will be tough. Like the next 8 weeks will!!

Might be about 4-5 goals off the pace in this one. Hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, this one will be very tough, but I think we'll do better in Tasmania, than if it was in Melbourne.

We're a chance, but I'd expect NM to win by about 20 points.

If we play like we did in the first half against WCE, it could be closer to 10 goals.

Yes- toughest test to date.

GWW- Spot on. We start like we did last saturday night and the roos wont relent like the coasters.

Westhoff will be huge for us tomorrow. Any sign that Petrie and Daw are getting on top will see Westy go back pretty quickly. Cornes to Swallow, but no noticeable matchup for Wells (possibly Mitchell can run with him when he comes on as the sub).

Our smalls will have to be our match winners in front of the sticks. Jay Schultz I expect to be manned by Thompson (although he did kick 7 last time), but Wingard, Neade, Gray and Stewart will need to kick multiples, as well as midfield scoring.

North is my pick by 15 points.
