Fremantle - chalk and cheese between them and Melbourne. Essendon to face pressure.
North - Sydney will be in shock at not playing in NSW and playing a real team for a change.
West Coast - Melbourne a silly chance but LeCras and Kerr ins add additional class.
St Kilda - Only just as they are copping injuries. GWS at the 'staying in the game longer' stage only.
Geelong - By a couple of goals despite Blues having a ruck edge.
Brisbane - Last chance Lions! Brisbane inspite of the Suns three straight at Metricon.
Richmond - Bulldogs a chance but Richmond are up and about
Hawthorn - Match up well with Pies whose defence has been de-stabilised without Maxwell.
Adelaide - Always tough to pick these but I reckon Cows by 7 with a bit more experience around the ground.

Geelong to dominate the ruck v Carlton. Kreuzers performance last week against the pies was severely over rated. Lunch was terrific

Geelong don't dominate anyone in the ruck. Our midfield thrives on roving the other teams taps. Blicavs is quite an athlete but isn't much of a presence in the ruck and West is only servicable at best despite a very solid finals series in 2011.

I know Geelong don't dominate anyone. I just think Kreuzers rucking is overrated. Better forward IMO

Frem v Ess, Fremantle think Essendon might be unsettle

NM v Syd, Tough one have to go with Sydney

Melb v WC, West coast

GWS v StK, GWS saw against port very quick and fit which i think will get them over the line

Geel v Carl, Geelong too much skill for me

GC v BL, Brisbane think this will be the week they turn it around

Rich v WB, Richmond

Coll v Haw, Tough one to pick but I'm going to go with collingwood

PA v Adel, showdown have always gone either way so i'm going out on a limb and saying a tie

I don't rate him as such but his absence will put pressure on those left behind, particularly Harry O'Brien who has been given a new lease of life up the ground. O'Brien is even more dodgy in defense than Maxwell and he'll now be forced into a more lock down type of role which will rob the Magpies of run.

Essendon - (Edited by Mod, statement made in relation to unproven allegations)
Sydney - North a carp, expect Brad Sook to sook after the game
West Coast - 1 million point win
St Kilda - GWS are still really carp
Geelong - Too good
Brisbane - No karnezis = win. Also good luck to the 2nd afl player that has gone into battle with squids.
Richmond - Too average teams but richmond are less average
Hawthorn - Have the wood over the Pies
Adelaide - Port are still carp

Ross Lyon has a very ordinary coaching record v Essendon. The Dons used to cut St K to shreds with their run, quick ball movement.

Having said that you'd think Freo would win tonight.

Freo 25+.
Kangas, catch Sydney off guard
West Coast easily Shuey to kick 5, Kennedy 6.
St Kilda win just
Geelong have to drop one soon, Carlton slowly getting better.
Brisbane win, JB to kick a bag
Richmond, 3-0 but will make it harder then they need too.
Pies, only because Sewell is out
Adelaide, Look a lot quicker, bit more midfield depth

This isn't St Kilda circa 2011 V Essendon. Think you'll find his new playing list is a tad quicker & more dynamic than he had before. That is why the Dockers are a genuine top 4 chance.
