This is a nice membership incentive but it's no use to people who live in a State not serviced by Origin e.g. Western Australia.

Typical of the eastern states-centric mindset of the AFL.

The AFL is not supposed to take Origin's money cos they dont service WA?

Something to do with the WA still owning power?

It's fine to have Origin as a sponsor but the AFL shouldn't enter into an initiative like this unless all football fans in Australia can take advantage of it.

You would be smarter negotiating a better deal with another retailer to be able to save more than $200 allowing you to support your club as well as saving money in the longer term.

Very good and smart marketing by Origin though ...
