Lenny Hayes had heart surgery today, I hope is recovery is speedy and full.

Now, how silly can these blokes be, this condition was discovered in the pre season, doctors said with management he will get through the season.

All is well and good that he did.

BUT what if his heart had not survived the vigorous great game of ours, and Lenny had a mishap during a game.

Who is held responsible if the worst was to happen?

I just hope that nothing happens to future players over a clubs intent to win a flag.

The buck stops with Lenny. Every individual is responsible for their self-determination.

It was his call and he made it. I agree it was silly but this is Lenny Hayes and he is one tough bastard!
All the best to him for a speedy recovery.

Obviously if he was cleared to play then it is something they were able to manage and he wasn't at any risk

Serious question, im definatly not in the now.

The doctor or whoever cleared him to play, is he an independent or employee of the football club? Would be an interesting little scenario!
