Why are they waisting time on this carp when the umpiring is a complete and utter mess, the MRP a farce and the administration is getting sand in their eyes from putting their head in the sand in relation to issues such as Tanking and their ridiculous 'third strike policy'. A complete and utter diversion which is insulting to the fans.
Club loyalty is the carrot that drags this whipped Donkey along.

The AFL idea is rubbish but Ive often thought a charity 20/20 cricket match between the AFL & NRL premiers every summer would work...

Do it like the Under 18's & Under 16's
Have Vic split in two Metro plays SA, Country plays WA (switch next year)
Also have NT play TAS, NSW/ACT play QLD so those states are also involved on the weekend
a 4 game weekend spread over Fri Night and 3 games on Sat would be great

Bring back Origin ,or nothing. if Clubs are against SOO (which they clearly are) why not have an u23 SOO. Generally the youner players play better for there state - Kernahan only kicked 10 once - when he was 18.
