I think they showed interest in Cloke to try and get Tippet to sign as quick as possible otherwise it might be a distraction come finals time. I bet Tippet signs within the next week.

Honestly can't see Adelaide paying the money that Cloke wants, as Harper said, they are doing the due diligence. I would think that (depending on clauses in his contract) if Tippett wants to go back to QLD Adelaide could easily break a deal with either club.
Adelaide just putting a bit of pressure on things.

If Tippett can stay concussion free, he'll be a great pick-up for the Lions.
Cloke would be a huge asset for the Crows too.
And Collingwood can have stuff all.

Disagree. Lions have been in talks with him since last year and Gc wont give up their early pick either. Lions will give up pick 9 or so for him amd maybe a player like polkinghorne or banfield

Pick 9. Adelaide would probably be ok with that.
Adelaide wont land cloke its just a bit of flop really. Goddard though might be a different story.

I would love to have goddard at the crows. You have to think where the saints are and where the crows are, it would be a chance. Also the crows are going to get brad crouch's brother in the mini draft the same way they got brad
