If Brisbane pick Pearce up I will cry a river bigger than the Murray.

Brisbane will want a high draft pick for Clark as well as a young player.
But like DB, if they pick up Pearce I'll lose my sh*t.
I'd rather recruit Ian Downsborough.

And I'll strip the kit off and frolic in the aforementioned river. ;)

I think Adelaide should use the Gunston situation to make a play to bring home a big name South Aussie. Obviously Gunston doesn't have the pulling power on his own, but with a couple of draft picks it could present quite a sweet deal.

Didak has struggled at Collingwood this year and would be a good senior addition to a young list. Cooney another who has battled for a couple of seasons and with the Doggies dropping off could be worth a play (although I know he has stated in the past that he wouldn't really consider it). Griffin also, although that could be stretching things a bit.

Please bear in mind that I'm keeping with the 'fantasy' theme of the thread, but it has been a while since Adelaide was able to lure a decent big name home.

You can't trade with Collingwood so I wouldnt even bother here. They only trade there 15th round picks for top players.

Christ I only know too well what it is to be in there position and having a home town rival keep kicking you when your down. Now look at them, crazy bastards, sack there coach even though he finished in 9th having a total of 22 fit players to get through the last few games. Bat crap crazy stuff but thats what there good at. Anyway it will turn for both SA teams soon espically if one of them can get the magic bean stalk.
