match review and tribunal

Postby best on hill » Sat Aug 27, 2011 11:18 am

last nights match (freo v magpies) there were two incidents that should be sighted.
first one was dale thomas hit where he left the ground for a old fashion bump on his freo opponent (unsure on the freo player)
second one is the head high bump on dale thomas by lower

what is every ones opinion about these two incidents.

my view is a few years ago thomas would not even get sighted but in this day and age and with the tribunal system having no consistency he could get off or he could get 2-3 weeks. lower will go but again how many is an absolute lottery!

whats your view?

The AFL has its own agenda
Thomas- Have a week off and be right for week 1 of the Finals
Had Blair/Fasalo/Young/Sinclair commited the same offence = have a 2 week spell boys.

Lower i reckon will be offered 3 weeks, reduced to 2 with early plea/good record
