According to Caroline Wilson Kane Cornes has been sacked from Port.

Graham cornes and Matty primus, have both said it's rubbish, apparently Kane wad really surprised to hear about the story.

It appears Caro's 'thourthes' have let her down yet again.

Didn't come out of Ports mouth, came out of Kane's mouth, he called 5AA and said it wasnt true.

Just find it a bit fishy, nearly every rumour about Port has turned out to be true, remember them swearing black and blue that Haysman hadnt quit and 2 days later he is clearing his desk. Hope its not true Kane deserves better than that

Maybe he can go play at the Gold Coast next year with Tippett

He is contracted for another two years, so if he is to leave it has to be via trade.

Must be something in it. Little Cornes is getting slower and slower every year. If he plays on next year, he will be running backwards.

Could it simply be that Port have made a decision to have a go at trading good players to get good players or desperately needed draft picks in return? Could it be that Williams wants him at GWS next season and is keen to trade a player or a pick for him?

That could well be the case. Primus has said Port will be as active as they can be in trade week

if this turns out to be true, then its another woeful blunder by port...payed out williams big money,haysman gone,duncanson almost, and now if they cant get a trade (and yes he's probably not going to get much interest) then they are going to have to pay kane out as well. when is this port one club fiasco going to end.....seriously!!!!

Heard on 6PR that it's a load of rubbish. Then Karl Langdon went on to say Matthew Primus is a worse coach than Tim Watson.

Agreed, was a massive smokescreen just like this is. I knew Hird would coach from about mid year last season, no point trying to cover up, would of rather he told the truth. Where there is smoke there is fire, Kane is gone!!!!!!
