The problem is that he tried to send someone into la-la land (your permanent location me thinks), and because the guy happened to not be seriously injured, he doesn't get the penalty he deserves. Riewoldt got the same penalty (2 down to 1) for simply standing there as he collided with Symes. Yes, you look at Roo's incident and then McPhee's, and they got the SAME penalty.

2 weeks is fair for actually not doing your opponent any harm. If you get convicted for attempted murder, you don't get as long a sentence as if you had succeeded.

It was in play and was low impact. 2 weeks seems about right.

Should have been 3 weeks minimum. He clearly intended to do harm, but failed. Terrible decision for only getting 1 game. Tribunal is a joke now.

In play? Yes.

High impact? No.

High contact? Yes, head high.

Had the option to tackle? Yes, chose not too.

Dirty prick for lifting the elbow and has been a mug for sometime? Yes.

Should have been 3 games at least. Trengove got 3 for a great tackle.

Trengoves was the bad one. The medical reports carry a lot of weight these days.

Trengove's was a great hard tackle. 10 years ago that we would not even be talking about that sort of tackle going to the tribunal or even the MRP!
