whufc, of Gold Coast supporting fame, threw out the massive call on James Sellar as one of the top ten worst AFL footballers ever...

Seeing as though we've all seen a few spuds, and all had a few anti-hero favorites, I'll leave out a poll at this stage...

Of players given a semi-decent run, which is to say guys who were on the list for a few years, and played a few games...

I come up with Cain Ackland.

Thoughts, guys....

He was average, but not the worst I've seen. Kicked one of the best goals I've ever seen too.

Austin McCrabb was probably the worst regular full backs I've seen.

David Laffy was a key defender in the mid/late 80's for Richmond, myself and my brother used to laugh at how bad he was.

Aaron Keating would be up there as one of the worst players to win a premiership.

On that line Sean Dempster from Saint Kilda has now played in 5 AFL GF's a couple with Sydney and a few with the Saints, he would have to be the worse bloke to play in 5 Grand Finals.
