I personally wouldnt attend even if my team (Hawthorn) was their opponent.

I voted no, but I would possibly go to an Adelaide game, however, as a Sturt season ticket holder I am able to go to 1 Power and Crows game each year and find it hard to do so.

Have been offered free Power tickets on a number of occasions, just not really my cup of tea mate. Fri night SANFL footy is more my thing!

I went last week to watch Carlton, and got 16 tickets for free ! Gave 'em all to Carlton people too ! Free car park as well made it a cheap day at the footy.

Rather stick pins in my eyes!

Maybe this is Port's problem, they dont put any value on their own product. Is this a Port initiative or a SANFL initiative?

It'd have to annoy the paying members knowing that they need not have bought a season ticket because their club is just handing out tickets to games.

Judging by their performances this year they should pay people to attend.

Exactly! Why wouldn't you go to at least support your own club.

Outside of a Showdown, I've only seen Port on one ocassion ... from a Corporate Box and didn't really notice the game.

So a free ticket isn't good enough for me I'm afraid ...

Couldn't pay me to go through the ordeal of driving to West Lakes, getting a car park, then watching a backward kicking possession style of footy that's fabricated by the national draft system and Demetrious chronies.
I can see through them all, rather watch SANFL or grassroots any day of the week.
The sooner they play the game how it was meant to be played and not run like a profit making business, i'll return

Have not attended a neutral AFL game(no hawks) at footy park for 10 years and price is not a factor .Been to dozens of neutral ones in Melbourne.

Don't remember the last time I saw a neutral game at AAMI Stadium.

I'd love to see more neutral AFL games though, because you can observe and appreciate the tactical complexity (which adds to the spectacle that the elite level can produce) better from a live football game compared to that of one shown on TV.

Would free tickets persuade me to make a Sunday hike down to West Lakes? Probably not.

Yes, in 2 weeks time, free tickets also to go see the Roos belt the Power

and I was going to spend nearly $100 to take the family until the free tickets offer arrived...

Wouldn't take them unless Richmond were in town.

Just got the letter from my SANFL club letting me know that I can get free tickets to the following games:

Power

North
Saints
Bulldogs
or Melbourne

Crows

West Coast (think that might be a bit tough)
Richmond

And the proviso is "All games are subject to capacity"

Given that both clubs don't ever get anywhere near capacity, why wouldn't they offer ANY game as part of this deal?

i voted for if they were playing my team.

but that's not entirely correct. i often go to games if i've got nothing else to do. if sunday arvo rolls around, and Port are playing against a team i wouldnt mind watching, and i had no prior arrangements, i go. done this several times over the last few years.

I have never been to an AFL game.

voted yes with the thought of going to port games with a free ticket. i just enjoy watching footy and love watching it.
