Worst Knee Injury Ever

Postby Barto » Sun May 01, 2011 1:48 pm

Possibly, I certainly haven't seen any worse than this:

We dont have a WAFL board and he's a former AFL player, so this seems like the place to post it.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Hopefully he can recover his moibility, he works as a fireman by trade so that's out the window for a while. Forget playing again.

saw it after the crows game last night and it is truly horrible, definitely worse then what hentschel suffered years ago and that was pretty bad. Be hard to come back after that.

I heard a bloke was in a bad way after another gutless incident, but didn't realise he was a WAFL player.

i certainly feel for him had a similar injury last year were i fractured dislocated and ruptured (ligaments) my knee watching that certainly brought back some horrific memories. hopefully he can return to his full duties in his job but as for playing footy again im not sure that would be wise. (how old is he?)

i thought trent henschells was the worst i had seen but that one there takes the cake

Bit early to declare his footy career over. Didn't realise there were so many doctors/surgeons on this sight.

Not really. Jaymie Graham quit AFL football to take care of his much younger siblings due to some family issues where they didn't have any decent parental options. Now he's pretty much out of work and I'm not sure if the income protection of the WAFL would cover his losses 100%.

Wow, that is the worst knee I've witnessed.

Steve Eichner some years ago in the SA V VIC State game at Adelaide Oval was horrific, this one, that I've just witnessed is just plain horrible. I thought, "could it get any worse?", yep, a kid dies.
PAFC. Forever.

That wins.....

That's shocking news. Another thread needs to be created about guys who punch/king hit guys, kill them and get away with it. It seems to be never-ending.

Is it just me, or is that a terribly reckless attempt at a contested ball?

Probably looking for a free kick. The injury is bad, but I still reckon Jason Snell takes the cake as far as injuries goes. He had to have the bone fused together just so he could walk without a limp.

And as far as the murder (yes, I'll call it that already, sue me), well when David Hookes' killer got off scot free, it's open season as far as cowardly king hits goes.

Dont start TSG, all injuries on football fields are world ending tragedies. Ask R&B ;)

Looked very painful, never like to see anyone in pain.

X2

Its a very sad society we live in when a person cant go to a night club without the danger of not returning home.

Glad all my clubbing days are over, im just scared for my 2 daughters in 20 years time when they will want to go to town.
