This weeks match im looking forward to, not because i expect us to give GC a smacking but im eager to see how we respond after a showdown. Admittedly i dont expect GC to put up much of a showing but we must show we can put bad sides away if we are to improve. At this stage there are no changes that im aware of.

Power by 4 - 5 goals tho i'd like to see 25 goals.
If the Gold Coast dont get within 40 pts of Port, they may as well forfeit the rest of the season as they wont win a game.

Not surprised at all by the result, Port have played so much insipid footy this year, you just can't expect to get away with it and win games apart from against the Crows.
40 pts up and to lose is simply unforgivable.
With the improvement in the Gold Coast in years to come, it's hard to see the Power(less) beating them in the next 5 years.

Can't say I'm surprised.
We've been Jekyll & Hyde for the last few years.
My 74 year-old half-senile Mum summed it up pretty well:
"They're a bunch of feckin' @r$eholes!"

No Brogan, no Port. We have had how many years to find or develop another ruckman and we haven't done it. Stewert got absolutely smacked by Frasier of all people! We need to have a good hard look at our list and weed out the players who continually do not step up when required. Insipid performances time and time again.

well well well ...... I went along today to have a closer look at some of the suns kids expecting port to do just enough to win cause thats exactly where our brittle club are at right at the minute.
sacrifice, courage, pride, hard work, respect, honour .... some words id associate with anzac day and port adelaide showed none of the above what so ever today. I have never been so embarassed to follow a club which on ability and experience are a 20 goal superior side and were beaten by a team who simply wanted to win more.
Some things just amused me ..... Jasper pittard. im not gonna knock the lad as i thought he actually had a fair crack today. By why the hell would a kid thats played 4 senior games be kicking the ball in with the game on the line when his skills arent the asset to his game. As for westhoff and im not blaming him for the loss at all. but he was never gonna kick that goal from the moment he took the mark.
Our list needs a good hard working over we have to many fragile players and too few willing to do the hard work
ITS GOING TO BE ONE LONG YEAR

The Power players disposal whether under pressure or not have continually let them down all year.
Port are simply carrying tooo many players whose disposals are just not up to it and they just seem to go to water when the pressure is put on as it was today in the last Qtr.
Port should never have been in the position they were in late in the game but the misses on goal by Hitchcock and then Westhoff just typify where the Port squad is at the moment.
Quite simply this would have to be the most Embarrassing loss in the clubs AFL history.
These sorts of losses just seem to makes the wins like they had against the Cows last week rather pointless really.
