Collingwood first two rounds
vs. Port in Melbourne
vs. Roos in Melbourne
Carlton first two rounds
vs. Richmond in Melbourne
vs. Gold Coast spuds anywhere
Round three the undefeated clash of the Melbourne Rivals on Friday night 'live' on revenue raising central. FFS at least try to disguise it a little bit for the rest of us.
Sorry boys but the Cats have defied the crap start you've handed to us. Get ****** Demetriou!

We've played Round 1 against the Tigers for the past few years. The Gold Coast, half the morons around tipped 'em !
But the saving grace is that Collingwood played a travelling team R1, played a team returning from Perth Round 2, and now play a team returning from Brisbane Round 3.
The Tigers showed that they won't be a pushover re the draw vs the Saints.
Who's fault is it that the Roos & Port are shit ?

And only a Blues fan wouldn't ask why they play Richmond in Round one every year. A nice soft 50 point win will get the bandwagonners back on board for a club with a massive latent fanbase. Yeah Richmond have improved but it's still a leg up. I'd much rather have Richmond/Gold Coast than St Kilda/Freo away thank you very much but the AFL don't want us up there.

It's a conspiracy man......
Let me guess St Kilda v Geelong. Grand finalist from 2009. Yeah no way would the AFL rig that game for a season opener to try and maximise the crowds.....no way.....
Hate to break the conspiracy but Richmond wanted the Carlton game as much as the Blues did, and both clubs worked hard with the AFL to get it, and as a stand alone. Good luck to both clubs for doing such.
Next week you play Port at Skilled Stadium. It's a conspiracy man. The AFL must of realised Port would be shit and as you've travelled given you a "gimme" game.
And don't forget the Cats play the traditional Grand Final rivals Hawthorn in a stand alone game at the G on the Anzac Day holiday, and get the bye the following week so you don't have a short turnaround.
Conspiracy man.....

And I always thought that the premier was supposed to get a tougher draw the following year

I'm sure the AFL don't want Geelong to be up there
Fair enough, they regularly favour Collingwood and Carlton, but I don't think they sit down together to plot Geelong's demise.

That's shocking
I can see why they are the most loved and most hated club going around.
Without looking at the draw I'm guessing Port will go to WA, QLD x 2, NSW, TAS & NT X 1 and Skilled Stadium just to round out their national tour

One that is very harsh is that Nth Melb have to travel twice to WA in 3 games.
R1- WC@ Subiaco
R2- CW@ Docklands
R3- BYE
R4- Freo@ Subiaco
How is that fair?

Of course they don't want Geelong up there . We've just recorded the best 100 game period win loss ratio in history. The AFL want to rotate the success, they don't want the same team dominating (unless they generate revenue LOL).

Never said there was a conspiracy but wouldn't mind swapping draws with you blokes. But I'm not surprised that a Carlton fan is so quick to use the word. Goes with the culture at Brown Paper Bag Park.
