I think they need to look at getting the J Hawk to be boundary rider.

Thank god for that.... nothing against her personally but footy needs a male commentator no matter how good/bad they are!

Nothing against females in commentary, but this needed to be done. I think there is room in footy for a female in this position, just not her!!!
Even her netball commentary bothers me.

I wonder if Luke Darcy is putting his hand up to get away from the Netball?

She was terrible.

I reckon Rebecce Judd formerly Twigley would be good on TV in a footy role (non-commentating).

When they spoke to her at Brownlow she was very educated about the game.

And she's hot.

As for Kelli Underwood.... a sensible decision by ten

I feel Ten screwed up on this. I enjoyed Kelli's commentating it sounded good but everyone was against her. Ten could have used Mick's daughter. I will miss her commentating the football.

I think she would have been more suited as a special comments type commentator. It could have been a good way to mix it up a bit, but listening to her commentate a whole game was dull and boring.

Having a female commentating on footy is like having female crew members on RAN ships - particularly submarines. Politically correct, appeals to the incense, batik and muesli set, is seen as driving a screw into the gender bias industry and gives everyone a warm fuzzy feeling. Facts are... none of it works. I love women. My mother was a woman, my sister is a women and my ex-wife was a woman and my partner is a woman and a bloody good one.

She had the wrong voice. So monotone.

Would rather hear a different voice get the names right, the action correct and not slip into a pseudo Special Comments role, than a smooth voice get names incorrect, make inane jokes and tell us what they think the player is thinking. Disappointing decision overall.

Didn't rate her. Anytime she tried to get excited about a bit of play her voice turned into a shriek.

Exactly. I listened to her Netball commentary and she was no better. She was so monotone doing that aswell. Definately don't have an issue with chicks commentating just not her. Good Decision.

Yeah i didnt mind the 90's commentary....energy was huge when a goal was scored

I thought she was ok.

To be honest I found her voice pretty hard to handle. Whatever happened to Malthouse's daughter? I think she'd do a decent job in an expanded role.
