MCG
Should be called Melbourne Collingwood Ground

What an absolute farce
CO played 14 games at the G this season
A staggering 7 games in a row at the G in the minor round
2 finals in a row at the G in the Major round
Thats 9 games in a row
Make it 10 with the 2010 Grand Final
July 9th was the last time they played away from the G

A fantastic club, playing greatish football at the minit, but how does any club get gifted a draw like this

The greedy $$$ hungry AFL administrators have a lot to answer for
Port Adelaide might not get a gig at the G in 2011
Other clubs with inferior crowd drawing abilities may be absconded form minor round G games as well
This is not a fair playing field surely ?

The AFL moguls have gone to great lengths to have a draft
The draft was introed to equalise the comp
Equalise the comp, get bigger crowds and bingo the allmighty $$$$ in the skyrocket
THEN
An about turnabout they give one club an unprecented advantage over all other clubs
Why ?
Becoz of the skyrocket again
CO simply draw big crowds

How about a FAIR comp I ask

Please note :
My post is not being disrespectfull of the Collongwood footy Club, but being disrespectfool to the AFL

And if your team is good enough, they'll beat them whether you play them at the G or at Uluru.
These set of circumstances haven't really changed since they moved to the G from Vic Park and they've only won 1 flag in that time. I think we should all laugh at them rather than cry about something that they obviously haven't been able to take advantage of.

Collingwood have only made the top 4 three times in the past 7 years. Since they won the flag in 1990, they've only made the top 4 five times. How is this possible if their draw derives such perceived advantages?

You can't win a flag unless you are good enough. West Coast, Adelaide, Brisbane Lions, Port Adelaide and Sydney have all won flags without any MCG "advantage". Why did they win? Because they were good enough.

If your teams stinks, a plethora of home games won't make a lot of difference.
