Only way we will win is if collingwood kick inaccurately.

we are a real chance to defeated St Kilda and should be favourites next week at home with the emotional of saying goodbye to some of the best players to play for the adelaide crows and with andrew mcleod possibly the games recored holder playing along with St kilda very poor record in adelaide. I believe based on this the margin will be no greater than 3 goals either side just remember we have defeated geelong at home and fremantle in tyson edwards farewell game.

paying $13 for the win on betfair at the moment. Despite our travelling issues this year, dont think the crows odds should be that long.

so was this topic, titled "round 21 collingwood vs. adelaide" supposed to be about this weeks game, or next weeks? you seem to talk more about the st kilda game than the collingwood game this week..

I'm tipping the Pies are they are red hot at the moment.

But... i mingled the Crows into a multi-bet for $10 as those odds are worth a punt.
I tipped 5 teams this week and if they all get up turn a fiver into $1300 with the Crows my only roughie

But realistically we are too young and inconsistent at the moment.

Very unlikely to even come close to Collingwood.

Will be interesting to see if this weeks events put some fire in the belly, I'd be pretty keen to get out there and show Bocky just what he's walked out on. Last weeks win would've done a lot for the young blokes too, to come through a tough game like that without the veterans to lean on.

Overall the main thing is that we show some fight, and do some things that will give the young fellas some confidence for 2011.

Hopefully Collingwood by 25-30 points (please God not 80+ )

For the second time ever, I'm not thinking local and tipping against the Crows. Saturday night has the potential to be ugly, very ugly. The only hope we have is the fact Collingwood have struggled against lowly sides this year (losing to Brisbane, drawing with Melbourne, beating Melbourne by 1 point), but then they have stood up for real action and smashed Essendon and West Coast in recent weeks and are moving forward into September with alot of momentum.

For me, Saturday night will see the Crows match on PIP on the tv as I'll watch the more enthralling matchup of Labor v Liberal in the election count.

Collingwood by 67 points.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Im going to go out on a limb and say the crows CAN win this saturday night. I have had a little flutter on them at $10, i feel like every side has that game coming into finals where they might not be totally switched on and get caught napping. The crows have the ability as they did against the cats, to upset a top side. Im pretty sure craigy and the boys will be keen to put on a big show and make Bocky think the move to the Suns may not have been the greatest.

Hopefully the COLLYWOBBLES start early

Glad I'm not the only one. Just a little voice in the back of my head telling me we're in this one, which is ridiculous really. I have no idea why. I guess we'll find out tomorrow night!

True there may not be but we still need to get the ball down to him, i think Collingwoods midfield will be too superior to ours unfrotunately.

Sucks to lose yet again to bloody Collingwood, but it was a terrific effort from a largely inexperienced side.

Got run over in the end (2.8 to the Pies in the final qtr) and couldn't take a mark in the forward line.
Hate to blame one player, but the awful miss by Walker probably made a big difference.

Brave effort, had everything against us (6 day break as opposed to 8 days, coming back from Brisbane as opposed to walking over from the Lexus Centre,) along with the expectation that we would get slaughtered. Score board probably flattered us a little in the end, all in all very proud of the fight the lads put up.

Don't want to put too much of a dampner on the effort but, when will certain players learn not to give the ball to Maric in general play?????

I actually thought Maric was pretty good last night. Took some good solid marks in defence and was there for the spoil over the line when needed. Also was a link man in a couple plays and performed pretty well in the ruck all night. Can't ask much more from a big man really.

I thought all the young fellas really went hard at the footy last night which was very pleasing to see. Johncock was superb again last night, the club champion is really between him and Douglas this year you would think.

On Davis too - I thought he played as well last night as Bock has at any stage this year, and the beauty is he can only improve. In fact, I thought his Davis was much more acurate with his disposal than Bock has been this year.

A great game in the end with a disappointing result, but at least it gives us some good reasons to look forward positively to 2011.

Inexperience is right.
Dangerfield and Sloane attack the ball well but both made some silly hand ball and kicking mistakes that caused turnovers - I assume they'll learn.
Walker made a better job at second efforts after having been dropped for one game, so perhaps he'll learn with a bit more operant conditioning of that sort..
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!
