if Brown plays adelaide will lose due to him playing his 200th game and the players and fans wanting to celebrate with a win and with the win last week over the eagles, Brisbane will play with more freedom and win by 4-5goals. It will between 5-12points if does not play either way.

Big '?' on Brown. If Brown doesn't play I think our backline will be too top heavy.

If Brown doesnt play then Rutten will take whoever they have as a key target and Bock can play tall or medium so i cant see it being a problem.

If Brown plays Bock will match him and truck at full back, i cant see their forward line worrying us to much. Only that ranga hurt us last time and Fev

Very, very interesting changes.

I'll take a stab and say the final 22 will be:

In: Sellar, Dangerfield, Davis, McKernan
Out: Griffen, Matin, Schmidt, Walker

Leaving Walker, Young and Schmidt the emergencies.

Can't see both talls being included?

McKernan has done enough to earn his spot.

If he doesnt play this week then he will certainly be in the meat market come seasons end.

And then that will come back and haunt us.

I don't think McKernan is going anywhere. Maric may have sewn up 1 ruck spot but the 2nd spot is very much up for grabs. I hope McKernan grabs this opportunity with both hands, he certainly showed potential in the game he played last year before breaking his arm. Really looking forward to seeing how he goes on the weekend.

Martin did enough last week to keep a spot on the list. I think that's probably where we are at for the rest of the year - it's all about list evaluation for the next few weeks.

IMO its a disgrace that he isn't staying in the team until the years end.

Yes, that is part selfish Redleg fan but also part 'what is best for Walker' as well. If he's injured that's a different story but if it's form how does he find it playing in the Magoos for some other mob or worse not playing at all?

Probably because it doesn't really matter now, we're out of the finals race for 2010, the 'serious' stuff is over for us already. The coaching staff know where he's at, but there's a few other young fellas that they are not as sure of and they need to have a look at them before the end of the season.

Ideally it would be nice for him to have a run with the legs, but ultimately his form is of little consequence now, 2010 is done and dusted. He has a 'yes' next to his name for next year - time to audition the 'fringe' youngsters in preparation for 2011.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he closes out the year with the Redlegs now.

Cheers boys. I didn't know the bye bye counted towards the SNAFL tally. I hope he does play the rest of the year for the Legs!

regards,

REB

I didnt know that either, that is good if he can play for the legs come finals time!

Nope - that was just me speculating. He could be back next week, who knows.

I'd say that this week and next week they'll be auditioning those on the list who haven't had a crack yet this year to see if they still deserve a spot on the list, and then perhaps go back to a 'full strength' line up for Goody's farewell game in the final round against the Saints. Again - just me speculating though.

Well it was an entertaining game to watch that's for sure. You could say that you can't take much away from beating Brisbane by a goal, but I think it will still rate highly with the players and coaching staff given the heat and the loss of 2 players before half time. To still come away with the win away from home after facing those odds is a very good effort.

Some observations:

- Richie Douglas has really won me over this year. I started the year as one of his many critics, but he has had a belter of a season and has put his hand up to be a regular in the midfield next year. Will go close to being club champion I reckon.

- Graham Johncock, superb. Can't really say much more, his run from half back is crucial, particularly with the veterans hanging up the boots at the end of the year.

- Tippett was fantastic today. Just gotta get that set shot goal kicking right big fella!

- Van Berlo really stood up. I've had my doubts, but maybe he is the man for the big job next year. The responsibility may just bring the best out of him.

- Porps looked great in the midfield today. Hope Craigy keeps throwing him in there in the next couple of weeks.
