where do you get your mail coverking , he was the round 16 rising star and did a brilliant job on a three time premiership player Cameroon Mooney. Neil craig will be slaughtered if he dropped davis. If anyone was to be dropped for bock probably Janesch.

Can't drop Jaensch, his work in the forward line has been so important. Kicking goals and putting pressure on opposition.

It doesn't matter who is available.

You don't drop in form players when you are winning.

They were fine against the best team in the comp so what's different this week?

Bock and Porps should continue in the SANFL.

disagree, bock has to play, he is the play maker back there and no one from Port will go with him. Good attacking positive decision in my book..all be it a very hard one. Bock for the show down medal.
Davis will be a star, don't worry, he will be back.

Let's hope so.

If you get 'unfairly' dropped, people go two ways.

1. Sulk and refuse to work hard, blame others and end up becoming disenchanted.
2. Cop it on the chin and adopt the attitude 'i'll show them'.

When i think more about it, it will certainly show the character of Davis, which could accelerate his development.
Was Bock any good in the SANFL?

The way the crows are trained and developed almost defuses any chance of option 1 IMO.

Craig is completely open an honest to his players, they know where they stand and they know what they need to do to keep their spot. Davis seems like a kid who wants to play at AFL level and at AFC.

He will be back bigger and stronger.

Bad call..... hope I'm proven wrong...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Agree, Choccies, harsh call for Davis. Could prove a big call come end of year if bock decides to join the "suns".

I am I the only person who thinks that Symes is lucky to keep his spot? I could be missing something but I get nervous when ever he goes near the ball. I dont go to games very often so I may miss something but to me he just seems to have little to no impact.

Symes defensive pressure is great he has 5+ tackles a game and i think his disposal is wrongly/over critised.

The Davis non selection will have no consequences, Bock will stay as well. Bocks article in the paper today was great and i can see him staying at the club. Davis will continue to develop/work on other parts of his game with the Roosters and the crows wont skip a beat with the change at CHB, if anything be better for it.

I probably wouldn't have dropped Davis, but then that's why Im a humble office worker and not earning the big bucks the selectors at West Lakes are .. I agree that Davis will bounce back no worries, he's shown impeccable character thus far and can't see how this will be any different.

Symes - Yep, he's not always the best decision maker and I've been critical of him for that in the past, but does provide a good hard-working option, good carry and defensively he's pretty good.

Bock - Perhaps another thought could be that IF the Crows were to sneak into the finals, you'd want a bit of footy into him post-injury before then .. They might also have concerns about a Port forwards mobility on Rutten?

If the Crows are good enough, they would win with or without these changes, and if they aren't they won't .. Pretty simple.

This game will give the younger players the chance to show that there can be good on field leaders by leading the way in there performance with goodwin, mcleod, Edwards and burton out. Nathan Van berlo you think will get the job as captian for this game considering how highly regarded as a future captian for next year or just a leader of the club.

A question here does anyone think Nathan Van Berlo is certain to be captian next year and who would you put as your vice captianfor season 2011? and i won't doubt coverking next time he writes something i believe not to be true or won't apparent.
