Any thoughts on whether this will be McLeod's last season too?
My gut feeling is he will announce his retirement in a month or two and play the season out.

Well his book is coming out this year so you'd think his exit plan is well underway.

So that makes Woewodin a better player than McLeod does it? Hard to split McLeod from Roo and Wangas but both the Brownlow and Premiership medal arguments are totally flawed.

Unless there is a surgical breakthrough that can fix his knee - like the sheep cartilage transfers someone in Tassie was experimenting with - I think he should retire while he can still walk.
Bone on bone is not good for the longer term...

Yep for me the Norm Smith is the highest individual acheivement a player can win in thier career.
To perform on the biggest stage in Australian Rules Football is the best achievement of all.

True but to earn the medal in a losing side is an extreme rareity.

didnt that happen twice in a couple of years
nathan buckley and chris judd
then with the st.kilda vs geelong just been both jason gram and paul chapman both polled 10 votes but it went to chappy due to more votes for best or something like that

What do you think Macca will do now?
I personally think he is getting himself ready for one last game in round 22.
