Report from the club website - stress fractures in his foot apparently:

Stress fractures = bad news. It's the type of injury that seems to drag on forever. :(

The Blackbirds not being blessed with a good run of injuries at the moment. Let's hope you can learn from Geelong's 'management' of Egan's injury. We tried to get him on the field for the Grand Final and finished his career.

Yep the Crows having another bad run with injuries all ready, seems to happen even year,

im starting to think there is something in Dutchy's Neil Craig theory.

Adelaide's injury list is not a standout compared to other teams and last year they only had a couple of guys missing come finals time whereas some teams like Hawthorn, NM, Freo and WC could barely find 22 fit blokes it seemed. This isn't always the most reliable source but it's good to get a quick feel as to where teams are at.

The slightest muscle twinge of a Crows player makes the front sport page of the Advertiser here so that's why I always challenge Dutchy to get some real stats to back up his theory. whufc now also firing from the hip using only his memory without any real stats.

No question it's a bad run recently at the Crows. Fisher from Carlton and Tapscott from Melbourne have also gone down with serious LTI in the last week. Injuries happen unfortunately.

We all know that an interupted pre-season is hardly an ideal preparation though, dont we?

Nope, but it's better than an interupted run into the finals.
