There really doesn't seem to be many options, unless they can afford to leave Deledio in the forward 50 for extended periods, which robs them of centre clearances. The wildcard may be Cousins up there, but can't see him regularly kicking more than three a game, even if he spends the whole game in the 50. Would need Jack Riewoldt and Mitch Morton to kick over 50 apiece to be any sort of show, and that looks a bridge too far
Rucks look thin, some good kids coming through but are a few years away from their peak, and too many underachievers. Richard Tambling's breakout year is still yet to come and in all honesty, may not ever arrive unless he really puts the skates on soon.

Carlton aren't anything flash at all - I think we'll finish 9-11th, we have a disfunctional forward line and not a great backline but we were made to look quite good.
If Richmond had actually finished off their work in the second quarter, then they could've been close if not in front at half time and anything could've happened from there.
Given that they may have a horrible year, at least they are on the right track by offloading a heap of ordinary mid range players in the off season and rebuilding, albeit again.
