Should the crows chase Luke Ball tomorrow?

I have been thinking about who the crows can get to top up the list for next year to go a couple steps further.

The two players that come to mind are Luke Ball and Kane Cornes.

In and under midfielders, Luke Ball for mine would be a perfect fit at the club. He could release Thompson and Van Berlo a bit more, he would fit right in with the professionalism at the club, and has already been a captain of a club.

For mine, trade Brent Reilly and a low draft pick, or Richard Douglas and a mid range draft pick.

Thoughts?

No I wouldn't trade either for Ball or Cornes, since we have resigned Edwards, Goodwin etc.
If anyone were to be traded for anyone Reilly would be the one I'd consider parting with.
I wouldn't mind the Crows acquiring Max Rooke at the right price.

I think Luke Ball would be a handy pick up. Definitely a quality player and would have that extra edge that players going to a new club seem to bring in their first year... Worth a punt maybe ??

Off to the Pies for Luke Ball

(How many times has there been so many people wanting one player to ping a hammy two minutes into the first quarter Round 1)

I remember one time before. Ben Cousins. Happened in the second though I think.

Not an unknown, young Talia was touted as a top 10 pick for yonks if not top 5. great pick up IMO

Talia unknown? Maybe to Locky ;)

Talia, who models his game on St Kilda skipper Nick Riewoldt, was considered one of the most sought after players in this year’s draft because of his versatility.

He played at centre half-forward for the Calder Cannons in the TAC Cup competition, but earned All-Australian selection at centre half-back in the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.

The crows have done alright with young Talia, this kid is going to be a star.
