Fevola to Brisbane?

Postby TroyGFC » Thu Oct 08, 2009 11:44 am

can anyone confirm this, it has front page of Herald. Im pissed off for one, Bradshaw is a much better teammate to have with Browny. And Ritticilli is a gun player. Think this is Vossy's worst move as coach yet if true!!

Fev will go alright up there with Brown. I believe when Fev's mind is on the game he is better than Bradshaw, however Bradshaw is a better team man, and always goes hard.
Anyway I feel if this happens its good for Carlton as they will have to blood another forward as Bradshaw will be serviceable, but he will not be like Fev as the sole focal point.

I actually think the deal suits Carlton better the Brisbane.

Fev is the sole attention in the forward line, no matter who else is there. End of Story. Bradshaw always knew he was second string to Browny hence why the partnership worked. Fev has never played second string to anyone nor has Brown. Alpha Male bring ot on.

Rischa is a interesting one. Seems to go OK, and would provide some much needed depth to the midfield.

And it will give Carlton a chance to groom the forward line, something they couldn't do as Fev hogged the limelight.....

It can work both ways, Bradshaw is 31 with injury concerns and Risca while being very good potentially is no more than a average player at the moment.

I think a forward line consisting of Brown and Fev is unbelievably potent and could give Voss the platform to the top 4 position that he so obviously craves.

Anyone else seen the "Rap Sheet" on Fevola's behaviour at the Brownlow. Reads like a council by-election document.
I'd put it up but it would possibly be pointless, pm me if you want to see it, i'll pm it to you if I can work out what to do.

According to the Hun Rischitelli doesn't want to play for the Blues so the deal might not go ahead.

May end up like Josh Kennedy. Initially did not want to move but by the start of the folllowing week was quite comfortable with the decision.

That's why I can't understand why he wouldn't move. The Lions obviously don't want him otherwise they wouldn't throw his name up. Hows he gonna feel fronting to pre season knowing the club he trains / plays for wanted to get rid of him.....
