I'm not a Port supporter, so I didn't see every game, but I thought Cassisi was that far ahead of any other Port player it wasn't funny. To not even finish Top 5 is astonishing to me.

Just highlights how under-rated Cassissi is at the Power. Someone who is under-rated within the club should not be a captain.

Unbelievable. Cassisi not in the top 5????
K Cornes coming second is as laughable as him winning the Merv Agars medal.
Makes our chief football writer in the Advertiser look rather silly after he wrote that Cassisi could use the same speech he used when accepting the 5AA AFL player of the year award.

It makes you wonder what is going on inside the heads of those in positions of Power at the Power.
Danyle Pearce almost beats Cassisi, Chaplin smashes him.......??? WTF!!?? Insanity.
Maybe the guys at the Power just don't know what good football or a good footballer is....

Another example of you trolling in here mate, it will perceived as biased if I gave you an official mods warning so I wont.
How many Port games did you watch this year? I assume you only took what the media had to say for granted (re - Cassisi ) and that was it?
Im happy enough with the outcome, Tredders was one of our best for the year and the remainder I cant argue with.

Trolling? I'm making a comment on the Power's B&F result. Not allowed?
I watched every Port game this year. Cassisi is the only one who put his head over the ball and played for the jumper.

I tend to agree with D&W's assessment of the rather strange voting results, Booney.
I thought Cassisi, Carlisle, and Surjan, should have rated more highly.
I didn't see D&W as trolling, but I hesitated to make the same comments myself in case of a like response.

Further proof the club has lost the plot.
Cassissi was easily our best player this year. Beyond doubt. No correspondance shall be entered.
Then probably Surjan.
What a joke...

The club has said the reason why Dom didnt poll better is that he had a very slow start to the year, got suspended a few times then when he got injured he played poorly. This cost him a lot of votes.

not trolling here but...
the results seem to bear out the year of turmoil and chaos that port suffered.
their best and hardest player by performance gets mostly ignored - casissi
their best and fairest is won by somebody who played occasionally very well but also went missing for large chunks - tredrea
yes, it was picked by the coaches - mmm, reflects the game plan and season i reckon.

B & F results and awards mean JACKSHIT.
TEAM Results ON FIELD are ALL that matters. Amazes me how people get all wound up about individual awards in TEAM sports.
The Brownlow medal is the biggest crock of shit of all. Means nothing at all. FFS umpires are out there to adjudicate the rules and then are expected to disect the game, players performances etc and award votes.
Scrap all these stupid awards and the game would be much better off.
