The problem with Barcelona is that I like fish and chips but they had to turn it into calamari and patatas

Not surprised really....The club said they'd do it if something happened, and by the looks of it that's the path they're heading down.

Farewell Fevva ! Get your head straight and kick some arse.

And hooray, we'll get to see another media circus about it.....

i just heard from Rod Popplestone on Kg and the General, thats Carlton are going to Offload him for Free and are willing to Pay the rest of his Contract out, so if Sydney (they are Favorates to get him) are willing to pay 600,000 over two years the Carlton Football Club will pay the left over 900,000 for the Two years of his contract

Interesting in these sort of discussions where the player has clearly breached the code of conduct of his club/AFL that the club still has to pay out the contract....

Interesting indeed.

Used to be a big St K supporter as a youngster and apparently knows a lot of the guys quite well. I can't see Lyon wanting him or the club having the $$ though.

Massive news. The Blues said he didn't have any chances left, and they've followed through on that threat. Makes for a very interesting trade period.

That's what I can't work out. There has to be some sort of clause there, and perhaps as no one on here or Big Footy or Talking Carlton is Greg Swann who's to know what the stipulations in his contract where. His contract would be a confidential document between the Carlton Football Club, Velocity Management and the AFL. Pure speculation what it contains...

He is best mates with Richmond Captain Chris Newmann. Could that be an influence for us to get him?

No. Fev would want to go to a club that has some chance of playing finals footy, after so many years in the wilderness.....

Am surprised and as was brought up on radio last night, Is Chris Judd the right man to captain this football club? A great lead by example player but to sit on the same table as him at the Brownlow and see what he was up to and then say on the other hand "i'm getting sick of his antics". Do realise that this is just the straw that broke the camels back and not the sole incident but there were things going out of control when he was captain at West Coast as well but suppose when you're winning some things get swept under the carpet.

Carlton would be offering to pay part of his salary because they'd have to pay him out anyway.

Will also say that am sure others would have been off their face at Brownlow as well but of course Seven's camera's were on him constantly and this raises the question that if a channel seven employed player/commentator was making a goose of himself, would he have constantly had the camera on him?

He actually took over West Coast when things were out of control. He wasnt captain when they went out of control.

SJABC I dont think Fev will get a say in where he goes. Carlton will get the best trade for him.
