17,000 odd tonight for Power v Roos.
Very average weather conditions, but given it was Lade and Burgoyne's last games, I'd have thought a few more could have made the effort...

Maybe they had Luke Darcy and Cory Wingard's call of heaviest rain ever seen forecast early.

Good call Clarrie.
Looking at it on TV it was a disgrace and embarrassing to see.
Especially after it was Lade and Burgoyne's last game....just goes to show the true character of alot of Power supporters.
Club wont last with crowds like this for much longer......
Poor effort Power supporters!!!

Was I the only one who thought there wasn't 17k there?
I felt as though it was a sub 15k crowd.

The new northern stand was pretty packed.
If they'd tried to call it a 20k+ crowd they would have been kidding themselves. I thought 17k was about right.

There was a great turnout of Roos fans, probably the most Ive seen at AAMi for a fair while, I believe they opened up the Northern stand for all and it was quite full which you wouldnt have picked up on TV

Join the fastest growing club in Australia, those who are disillusioned by the game and have jumped off. The game's crap and I can't blame you.

Interestingly I live not too far from Footy Park and can hear the crowd to different degree on different days .. On Sat night, I could hear quite a roar (given it was twice in 30 seconds or so Im guessing it was Eberts mark and goal in the last).
I was surprised at the time ... I know low crowd numbers don't help the club, but good that both sets of supporters really got into the game.

Geelong gunning for a premiership only got 18,000 fans show up. It's not just Port who couldn't get a crowd.

The only thing to get fans to Footy Park on Saturday night was the farewell for Burgoyne and Lade.
Nothing to play for, side playing like rubbish and rubbish weather against rubbish opposition ( Dont get upset Dutchy, I know you won but its true ). Hardly condusive to a big crowd.
Gary Stork on RPH this morning said the 15,000 Port fans who didnt go need to have a good look at themselves. So 17k at the game and 15k need to look at themsleves, tell me Mr.Cliche, when was the last time we had 32,000 to a game?
