Big call on the carlton players, out drinking from what I heard on 5AA. Well if we don't win this game now we don't deserve to play in finals.

Not just out drinking, Cloke Betts and Garlett were suspended because they arrived late to a compulsory training session.

Yes because Cloke Garlett and Betts are the three biggest names Carlton have and just out and out superstars   .

Wise $$ would be on Fev'z mob ;)

Still a little early to peak...

Timing is essential in AFL

Dog_ger thinks, the only team the crows cannot beat are the Saints in the finals....

Westies cannot make the 5 thiels, sorry my good friend.... :(

If Hampson doesn't come up, we still have Jacobs and maybe Warnock to come in for ruck duties, all of which I would take over Cloke anyway as a ruckman.
Shouldn't lose much if Yarran comes in for Garlett, similar experience (none really) and similar players.
Betts has had a knee complaint for more then a month now and could do with the rest anyway. Grigg to come in for him.
Hadley is the one that will probably hurt the most, he was just starting to do really well in clearing paths for our midfield and getting the hard ball to realease Judd from that duty a bit. Armfield will probably come in for him but I not sure he can do as good a job.

No chance mate! He was pretty solid on Sunday.

In: Danger
Out: Shirley

If Burton is fit, out goes Douglas.

Agree with both of those changes NFC. Douglas seems to be a favourite though for some reason, will be interesting to see what happens at the selection table this week.

I'm very happy with those changes.

Good to have Dangerfield back, and "Slipped tackle" out.

B Aaron Joseph Bret Thornton Paul Bower
HB Jordan Russell Chris Johnson Simon Wiggins
C Kade Simpson Bryce Gibbs Marc Murphy
HF Ryan Houlihan Andrew Walker Andrew Carrazzo
F Setanta O’hAilpin Brendan Fevola Chris Yarran
R Matthew Kreuzer Chris Judd Nick Stevens
I/C Dennis Armfield Steven Browne Shaun Hampson Heath Scotland

Emergencies Adam Bentick Brad Fisher Sam Jacobs

In: Armfield, Browne, Johnson, Hampson, Yarran.
Out: Anderson, Betts, Cloke, Garlett, Hadley

Jacobs named as an emergency says to me that there is still some doubt on Hampson so that may be a late change.
Don't know why Chris Johnson is back in, hasn't shown any form in the Ants. Good to see Browne getting a go as he has been consistent for the Ants and Yarran will hopefully impose himself on the game knowing that little Eddie isn't there.

Even with the outs for carlton I'm not totally convinced, if Adelaide are slightly off their game we will lose. carlton will be a tight, consolidated unit.

Adelaide by 26 pts.

Can't see Carlton overcoming the hoodoo of Adelaide in this game, with five changes and an inability to cope with Adelaide's gameplan (as shown in our last two ventures with Adelaide).

Hope I'm wrong.

Love the look of that forward line, hopefully the midfield/half backs can get some good supply into them this weekend.

Crows will win, 35 points the margin.

This a long shot but 4th spot is still possible and here are some equations:
Crows by 100, Bulldogs need to lose by 30
Crows by 60, bulldogs need to lose by 65
