As predicted a month ago :D

Sounds like a good appointment

Love this -

Scott was also interviewed for the vacant Richmond job, but said he had been impressed by the Kangaroos' young playing list and the club's planning for the future.

"North were a much better fit for what I could bring to the table," Scott said.

"North's list is very young and very exciting and there's a lot of scope for improvement."

No one wants to coach Richmond

Could be he realised he wasn't getting the collingwood gig when buckley was signed and decided to move on .

Just watched the Presser, he is very impressive, pretty confident the right choice has been made here, exciting times

He had no future at Collingwood when that decision was made, so why wouldn't he move. Actually why would anyone want to be an assistant at Collingwood knowing they have absolutely no chance of getting a senior gig in the next ten years there. Better off to move to another club and have a crack then be surrounded by puppets.

Not sure about exciting times coming off a loss to West Coast - every side has "exciting youngsters" and all new coaches look impressive. Good luck to the Roos, though - a genuine football club. I hope Scott does well.

I would laugh if Hardwick said no to Richmond.

Effort was pretty good against WCE considering the travel and 6 day break they faced, as Ive said before Ive never been so excited about the youngsters at the Roos, some real quality flowing thru, much like the Cats and Saints a few years back

Richmond are the first without a coach and going to be the last to appoint...typical
